NM Workforce Connection Centers to Suspend In-Person Services

The Workforce Connection of Central New Mexico and New Mexico Workforce Connection (NMWC) Centers are closely monitoring all updates, and as an additional precautionary measure to mitigate the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), all five NMWC Centers in the Central Region will suspend in-person services effective March 16th, 2020 and until further notice.

  • Although in-person services will not be available, customers can call (505) 843-1900 or email to connect to staff with any questions or request for information about programs and services. 
  • The Workforce Connection of Central New Mexico is also exploring limited by-appointment options for customers as well. 

WIOA 2020-2023 Four Year Plan

As required by  the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), 679.580(a), the Workforce Connection of Central New Mexico (WCCMM) has developed modifications to the WCCNM Four Year Local Plan to achieve WIOA priorities in New Mexico’s Central Region. The Public comment period was conducted from September 15, 2020 through October 15, 2020 and approved by the WCCNM Board on October 19, 2020. This approved plan will now be submitted to NMDWS on November 6, 2020, with final approval and /or additional modifications scheduled for December 15, 2020.
